Minitago connects players with real local businesses through bite‑sized Quests — turning the coffee runs, dinners and errands you already do into something worth levelling up for.
Our story
Minitago started with a simple observation: the best parts of a neighbourhood — its cafés, its hawker stalls, its independent stores — rarely get discovered through a search bar. They get discovered by wandering in. We built Minitago to reward that wandering: every Quest you complete is a real visit to a real place, and every Gem or Coin you earn is proof that you showed up.
It began on the streets of George Town, Penang — a UNESCO heritage town where the best meal is rarely the one you booked, but the one you stumbled into. Our founders kept noticing the same thing: locals walked past incredible hawker stalls, kopitiams and family-run shops every day without a second glance, while newcomers had no way to find them beyond word of mouth. Minitago was built to fix that — starting with a handful of partner locations around Penang, and a simple idea that finding a great local spot should feel as rewarding as the meal itself.
